Boobie Ike, a major supporting character in Grand Theft Auto VI, operates the Jack of Hearts strip club in Vice City's Crosstown district within Vice-Dale County, State of Leonida (GTA Wiki, 2025a). Rockstar Games' official character profile describes Boobie as "a local Vice City legend" who is "one of the few to transform his time in the streets into a legitimate empire spanning real estate, a strip club, and a recording studio" (Rockstar Games, 2025). Of these three pillars, the Jack of Hearts club is unambiguously the operational hub: it generates the revenue, social capital, and physical territory that hold the rest of the empire together. Boobie himself summarises the financial architecture bluntly on the game's promotional website: "The club money pay for the studio, and the drug money pay for it all" (Rockstar Games, 2025).
The Jack of Hearts is a popular, fully accessible interior venue branded around playing-card iconography, with the in-fiction tagline "It's all about heart โ the Jack of Hearts" doubling as Boobie's personal motto (Rockstar Games, 2025; GTA Wiki, 2025b). According to the GTA Wiki entry on the venue, the club is owned outright by Boobie and its earnings are explicitly used to fund his recording studio, Only Raw Records, which he co-runs with aspiring music mogul Dre'Quan Priest (GTA Wiki, 2025b). This makes the strip club not merely one business among several but the cash engine that subsidises Boobie's more speculative ventures โ most obviously the still-unprofitable label, which the official site notes "just need[s] a hit" (Rockstar Games, 2025).
The club also functions as a talent pipeline and social node. Dre'Quan uses the Jack of Hearts as an A&R venue, telling players on the official site that "Dancers are like my A&Rs. If the record's a hit, DJs gonna be spinnin' it," and the same profile confirms that "Dre'Quan's days of booking acts into Boobie's strip club" predate his signing of Real Dimez to Only Raw Records (Rockstar Games, 2025). The strip club thus serves as the physical recruiting ground where street-level acts, dancers, and crew converge โ directly feeding the studio operation upstairs in the empire's value chain.
The Jack of Hearts is located in Crosstown, Vice City, and was first exposed publicly through the September 2022 GTA VI leaks, which revealed both its name and a substantial portion of its interior, including a playable sequence in which Lucia Caminos and Jason Duval โ the game's dual protagonists โ navigate the club and interact with Dre'Quan and an associate named Sam (GTA Wiki, 2025b). The venue was subsequently confirmed in the first official trailer and expanded in Trailer 2 and accompanying screenshots (GTA Wiki, 2025b). Its visual design draws directly from real Miami nightlife: the GTA Wiki notes that "Jack of Hearts' branding draws heavily from the former King Of Diamonds strip club in Miami-Dade County, Florida," while its exterior is modelled on the demolished Fight Club boxing gym at 120 NE 20th Street in the Edgewater neighbourhood of Miami (GTA Wiki, 2025b). This grounds the fictional hub in the same Florida hip-hop strip-club economy that the Boobie/Dre'Quan storyline satirises.
Boobie's own official biography lists his occupations as "Strip club owner, Realtor, Investor," with the Jack of Hearts identified as his sole listed business holding (GTA Wiki, 2025a). Functionally, this confirms that within the in-game economy the club is the only declared, legitimate cash-generating enterprise on his balance sheet โ the real estate is largely a holding strategy and the studio is a cost centre, leaving the club as the load-bearing asset of the entire Ike empire.
Boobie's strip club business operates as a textbook depiction of legitimised street capital: criminal proceeds (the "drug money") underwrite a licensed adult-entertainment venue, whose declared earnings then launder reputation and bankroll cultural ventures (the record label) and asset accumulation (real estate). The Jack of Hearts is therefore not set dressing but the structural keystone of Boobie's characterisation as a transitional figure โ half hustler, half mogul, "all smiles until it's time to talk business" (Rockstar Games, 2025).
